In 2019, Odesa Film Studio celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Since its founding, more than four hundred films have been made there, including works by prominent Ukrainian masters: Les Kurbas, Oleksandr Dovzhenko, Ivan Kavaleridze, Mykhailo Illienko, Yaroslav Lupiy, and others.

The postage stamps of the block depict the “Entrance Gate” and “First Pavilion” of the film studio, which has been presenting great films to the audience for several generations.
