Kolomyia is one of the most populated places in Prykarpattia, a city of regional significance. The oldest settlements on the territory of Kolomyia existed 6,000 years ago. The city is famous for its ancient architecture and sights. Most of them were built in the XIX century. Kolomyia Town Hall, located on Mykhailo Hrushevskoho Avenue, was built in 1877 in the Neo-Renaissance style. The building itself is three stories high, with the city's coat of arms and a clock on the tower. The city's business card is the wooden Annunciation Church. It is considered one of the oldest sacred buildings in Galicia. The Kolomyia Pysanka Museum, built in 2000, has a collection of more than 6,000 Easter eggs from most regions of Ukraine and attracts visitors from all over the world.
