The Third Separate Assault Brigade is a unit within the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022, as a volunteer unit of the TRB. At the beginning of the full-scale war, the unit's soldiers defended Kyiv and the region, and fought in the Zaporizhzhia sector. In the spring of 2023, the brigade was the first to launch a counteroffensive and liberate more than 20 km² of territory. The unit fought heavy battles in the hottest spots of the front, in particular, in the Bakhmut sector, Avdiivka and the Kharkiv frontier.
