Mariupol is a city that has survived a siege and massive attacks and has become a symbol of resilience. Its residents and defenders — soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Azov Regiment and other units — resisted to the last despite the difficult conditions.

We believe that the city will return to Ukrainian control. Its people, their struggle and strength of spirit will always be remembered. Mariupol will be reborn and justice will prevail.

To commemorate the heroic city, a thematic issue was prepared as part of the “Personalized stamp” project. The envelope features the work of watercolorist Maxim Kisilov.
