Sofia Karaffa-Korbut is a Ukrainian graphic artist who has illustrated about 60 works by Ukrainian writers.

The artist has created images of Zalizniak and Honta, Karmeliuk and Dovbush, Gamaleya and Prometheus, Ivan Pidkova and Jan Hus on paper. She illustrated Shevchenko's "Kobzar.

Her drawings for Lesia Ukrainka's drama-extravaganza "The Forest Song" deserve special attention, as they are considered the pinnacle of her work.

These drawings are reproduced on the postage stamps of the "Sofia Karaffa-Korbut" series, which Ukrposhta officially put into circulation on July 25, 2020, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poetess Lesia Ukrainka.
