The postal block depicts Ukraine's most valuable archaeological treasure, the Scythian pectoral, which was discovered in the Tovste Mohyla mound on June 21, 1971, by Borys Mozolevsky.

The jewelry belonged to a Scythian aristocrat who was buried with it in the fourth century BC. It is currently one of the most important finds of the twentieth century, kept in the Treasury of the National Museum of History of Ukraine.
