The postage stamps of the “Ukrainian Embroidery - Code of the Nation” series are intended to introduce this ancient art form to modern Ukrainians, to show the diversity and peculiarities of patterns and colors that are inherent in each region of our country.

The stamps feature a fragment of embroidery on a shirt from Kyiv region, which is an exhibit of the National Center of Folk Culture “Ivan Honchar Museum”.
