The postage stamp issue “Stamp of indestructibility. Where the home grows” honors the dignity, strength, and indestructibility of millions of Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes due to the Russian-Ukrainian war. 

On June 20, World Refugee Day, the Rokada Charitable Foundation announced a public competition to design the “Stamp of indestructibility” stamp. The competition lasted over a month and collected dozens of touching visual stories. The winner of the competition was 32-year-old artist and designer Alona Zinchenko, who, at the beginning of the large-scale invasion, survived the occupation in Bucha with her daughter and was later forced to move to the United Kingdom.

"This competition became very personal for me. After three weeks in a cold basement in Bucha, my child and I escaped the occupation and went through a difficult recovery process. Working on the sketch became therapeutic: I wanted to convey the fragility and strength of a child who does not lose hope even after a terrible experience. For me, this postage stamp is a symbol that home is not just a place on the map, but something we carry in our hearts: memories, warmth, hope, and the ability to start again," said the designer.

The unmarked artistic envelope bears the stamp with the imprint of a special cancellation “Stamp of indestructibility. Where the home grows”.
