Postage set «7th Carpathian Border Detachment» according to the project «Personalised stamp»

Description:

The 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment is an elite unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine that is at the forefront of protecting the state border and the country on a daily basis.

The detachment protects the border on land, rivers and other bodies of water, carries out border control and passes people, vehicles, cargo and other items across the state border of Ukraine, as well as detects and stops cases of illegal movement of them, coordinates the actions of law enforcement agencies in the border areas and is actively involved in the fight against organized crime and illegal migration.

A special role in the hostilities is played by the Rapid Response Commandant's Office “Shkval” of the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment, a border special forces unit that has distinguished itself in important operations in Kyiv, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Luhansk. It consists of artillery, reconnaissance, air defense, mortar and anti-tank units that destroy enemy equipment, support other units and confidently hold the line.
