The “History of Fire Transport of Ukraine” stamp series was launched in 2016 to mark the 100th anniversary of the first fire truck in Ukraine, the Benz-Gaggenau pumper truck.

Later, the series was supplemented by issues dedicated to equally interesting firefighting equipment, including the boat PK-10\130 (UMS 1000), KrAZ-63221 truck, GPM-54 tank, and AN-32P aircraft.

The fire truck ladder was built on the chassis of a White truck in the workshop of the Odesa City Fire Brigade in 1921. It was equipped with a mechanical ladder with a manual drive by Magirus. The first ladder truck in Ukraine delivered 6 firefighters and firefighting equipment to the fire scene. The speed of the car was 35 km/h.
