Tetyana Yablonska (1917-2005) - Ukrainian artist, People's Artist of Ukraine, academician of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine, professor and recipient of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine. She received her education at the Kyiv State Art Institute, Fyodor Krychevskyi's workshop.

Realism, impressionism, and primitivism were reflected in Yablonska's work.

Yablonska's paintings have been repeatedly recognized at the state level and at exhibitions. In particular, for the painting "Bread" (1949), she received a bronze medal at the World Art Exhibition in Brussels in 1958, for the painting "Flax" (1977), reproduced on a postage stamp, the artist was awarded the State Prize of the USSR (1979).

Paintings by T. Yablonska are kept in various museum collections of Ukraine and Russia. One of the Kyiv streets is named after her.
