Stamp sheet of 9 stamps «To the International Museum Day. War Museum»

Description:

On International Museum Day, Ukrposhta presents the stamp issue “War Museum. Let’s Build It Together” in support of the UAH 20 million fundraising campaign announced by the museum on February 13 to create new exhibitions beneath the Motherland Monument — the Museum of Modern Military Technologies and the Museum of Soviet (russian) Propaganda.

Ukrainian artists Volodymyr Taran and Anton Logov, both Honored Artists of Ukraine, along with designers Lyudmyla Nikorych and Daria Dashinevych, contributed to the issue. Each artist created their own interpretation of the Motherland Monument — one of the key symbols of Ukrainian resilience and resistance during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Together, these artworks form a multifaceted portrait of a nation undergoing a transformation of its identity amid the largest armed conflict in Europe since World War II.

The issue was released according to the project “Personalized Stamp”.
