The “History of Fire Transport of Ukraine” stamp series was launched in 2016 to mark the 100th anniversary of the first fire truck in Ukraine, the Benz-Gaggenau pumper truck.

Later, the series was supplemented by issues dedicated to no less interesting firefighting equipment, including the boat PK-10\130 (UMS 1000), KrAZ-63221 truck, GPM-54 tank, and AN-32P aircraft.

The PMG-3 fire truck has been produced at the Firefighting Machinery Plant in the village of Ladan (Chernivtsi region) since 1948. The vehicle was manufactured on a GAZ-AA chassis with a front-mounted pump with a capacity of 20 l/s. The pump truck carried 8 firefighters and firefighting equipment. The vehicle's speed was 65 km/h.
