Over the years of independence, Ukrainian Olympians have won 151 medals at the Summer Games and 9 at the Winter Games, establishing Ukraine's reputation in the world of sports. In 2026, the main winter event of the quadrennium will take place in Italy, where Ukraine will be represented by athletes in 11 sports who have been preparing for the Games in the extremely difficult conditions of wartime.

Despite all the challenges, Ukrainian sport continues to develop and discover new names. Through the achievements of our athletes, the world sees the character of the nation — resilience, hard work, and the ability to move forward.
