Envelope «River Flotilla of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine» DL

The River Flotilla was established in 2022 to respond to existing threats from the enemy on the Dnipro River. The River Forces are an independent branch of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The River Flotilla carries out combat (special) missions in the riverine environment in the Polissya, Kupiansk (from November 2024 to July 2025), Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia sectors. During this time, the River Forces have come a long way in their development. 
For their significant contribution to the defense of Ukraine’s state sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the courage and bravery demonstrated while carrying out combat and special missions, the personnel of the River Flotilla have been awarded state honors and departmental distinctions.
In 2023, the President of Ukraine presented Battle Flags to the 26th and 27th Separate River Boat Divisions, and in 2024, these military units were awarded the honorary distinction “For Courage and Bravery.” To date, 188 service members have been honored with state awards, including one who was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine along with the Order of the Golden Star.
The River Flotilla continuously carries out combat and special missions, bringing Victory closer and fighting for a free future for an independent Ukraine.
