Stamp block «Ukrainian courtyard» 2011

The Ukrainian Yard stamp block includes five stamps: “Cat”, “Swallows”, “Cow”, “Dog” and “Piglet”.

The author of the postal issue is Kost Lavro, a well-known Ukrainian illustrator whose works have been repeatedly included in the catalogs of children's book exhibitions in Bologna and Bratislava.

The postal block launches a series of stamps that tell the story of the many inhabitants of a Ukrainian village yard, depicted in the style of children's cartoon characters, as well as traditional rural household items and characteristic plants.
