Sheet «Stained glass windows of old Lviv»

Sheet «Stained glass windows of old Lviv» was put into circulation on December 30, 2020.

The stamps are based on 7 fragments of colored stained-glass windows that adorn the sacred buildings of the city of Lviv, namely: St. Anthony's Church, the Assumption Church, the Armenian and Latin Cathedrals, the Dominican Church, and stained-glass windows in the former Krakow Hotel.

Against the gray background of the sheet, the colored stamps are arranged in the form of three stained glass church windows-three stamps for the two side windows, and the central window is represented by a single large stained glass window depicting the Virgin Mary. Two marble columns are depicted in the margins of the stamp sheet, adding solemnity and grandeur to the postal issue.
