On May 2, 2025, at 17:38, the DIU's Group 13 special unit destroyed two Russian Su-30 fighters for the first time in history using AIM-9 missiles fired from MAGURA V7 naval drones.

This is not the first unique operation of Group 13. Previously, the unit destroyed 9 enemy ships out of a total of 16. They were the first in the world to sink a warship with the help of naval drones.

Another significant achievement was made on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2024. That night, Group 13 soldiers used MAGURA drones to destroy two Russian Mi-8 helicopters and damage a third for the first time in the world. This operation received wide coverage in the world's leading media, including specialized military publications, as no other combat unit in the world has achieved such results.

The sketch is based on the artistic image of Magura, one of the key figures of Ukrainian mythology. She symbolizes military wisdom, strength and protection that supports soldiers during battle.
