Description:

The sheet "Bridge of the Four Evangelists" is dedicated to the bridge of the same name in Schönborn Park, which is located on the outskirts of the village of Turya Pasika in the Transcarpathian region.

The bridge is made of stone and has three arches, through which a small river flows. The entrance and exit on both sides are crowned by baroque sculptures of the evangelists Mark, Luke, Matthew, and John on small columns.

On one side of the bridge there is a green flat area, on the other - a dense forest, which, like the entire surrounding picturesque area, belonged to Count Schönborn.

The issue complements the series "Bridges of Ukraine", which tells about unique bridges in Ukraine.
