Personalized Stamp Issue: 153rd Separate Mechanized Brigade

The 153rd Separate Mechanized Brigade was formed in August 2023 in Zhytomyr. The brigade’s servicemen and women have jointly defended the Kharkiv, Pokrovsk, and Dnipro directions of the front, and are now successfully carrying out combat missions in the Orikhiv direction.

The brigade’s motto, “WE SWEAR BY OUR WEAPONS,” originates from the same episode in The Tale of Bygone Years by Nestor the Chronicler as the image on the brigade’s shoulder insignia. It symbolizes the form of oath taken by warriors of Kyivan Rus in pre-Christian times. An oath sworn on weapons was considered inviolable. Such oaths sealed both agreements between knights and treaties between states.

Holders of philatelic subscriptions “Exclusive+” will receive a link to pay for the limited edition postal set “153rd Separate Mechanized Brigade” under the “Personalized Stamp” project. It includes:

• a numbered stamp sheet (6 stamps);
• a numbered illustrated envelope (C6 format) with a special cancellation.

The number of sets is 900. The price of the set is UAH 800.00.

If not all sets are purchased within the specified period, the remaining quantity will be released for general sale in the Ukrposhta Postmark.
