For more than three decades, the All-Ukrainian Equestrian Federation has been training athletes who bring glory to our country on the world stage. Over the years, generations of riders have grown up who know the value of victory and know how to fight for it. Russia's war against Ukraine has changed everything. Since the start of full-scale aggression, dozens of equestrian complexes have been destroyed by rocket strikes: animals have been killed, riding arenas destroyed, and breeding stock lost. Each such loss inevitably affects the training of Ukrainian athletes and, as a result, the future of Ukrainian equestrian sports as a whole. But despite the war, training continues every day — Ukrainian riders continue to win prizes. In 2023, the Ukrainian national team won gold in the Nations Cup quarterfinals in Greece, silver in the Nations Cup semifinals in Austria, and bronze in the Nations Cup finals in Poland. In 2025, Ukraine also achieved a superb result in the individual competition. For the first time in the history of Ukrainian equestrian sports, Anastasia Bondareva took third place in the 155 cm Grand Prix at the Tetouan CSI 4-W* competition. The sketch for the postage stamp is based on a documentary photo taken by Artem Tverdokhlib in Kharkiv, at Nicola's Horse Club. The issue was carried out on the initiative of the All-Ukrainian Equestrian Federation of Ukraine.

The unmarked artistic envelope bears the stamp with the imprint of a special cancellation “Equestrian sport of Ukraine”.
