On June 28, 1996, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Constitution of Ukraine — the Fundamental Law of the state that became the cornerstone of modern Ukrainian statehood. It established the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as the principles of democracy, independence, territorial integrity, and the rule of law. On June 28, 2026, in the fifth year of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ukraine will mark the 30th anniversary of the adoption of its Constitution — the foundation of the country’s democratic development. To commemorate this important milestone, Ukrposhta, in cooperation with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, presents the postal issue “30 Years of the Constitution of Ukraine”. The unmarked artistic envelope bears the stamp with the imprint of a special cancellation “30 years of the Constitution of Ukraine”. The issue was released according to the project “Personalized Stamp”.
