Postage Issue: Dronefall

“Dronefall” is a project launched by the Come Back Alive Foundation in 2024 to help Ukraine’s Defense Forces systematically intercept and destroy russian drones.

What began as an initiative focused on reconnaissance UAVs quickly evolved into an entire ecosystem of aerial interception. Today, the project equips military units with everything they need to hunt enemy drones in the sky: interceptor FPVs, pickup trucks, communications equipment, optics, power systems, electronic warfare tools, and specialized training.

By 2026, more than 100 military units had joined the initiative, and the number of destroyed Russian drones exceeded 32,000 — and counting.

In 2026, Ukrposhta and Come Back Alive Foundation released the official charity stamp issue Dronefall in support of the project. Ten hryvnias from every stamp sold go directly toward strengthening Ukraine’s aerial defense capabilities.

The artwork was created by Volodymyr Manzhos (WaOne), one of Ukraine’s best-known contemporary street artists, whose murals can be seen in Kyiv, including on Stiletskyi Lane and Nyzhnii Val Street.

The stamp’s visual narrative centers on the image of an archer-bird confronting swarms of airborne evil. According to the artist, the work is both a metaphor and a tribute: an homage to those defending Ukraine’s skies every night — the air defense forces, interceptor crews, engineers, and all those turning the economics of war against the aggressor.

On May 13, 2026, a new Ukrainian postage stamp titled Dronefall will be officially issued and valid for postal use nationwide.
