Description:

Since its creation on March 8, 2022, the 110th Mechanized Brigade has been actively involved in repelling Russia's armed aggression, destroying the enemy on a daily basis. On August 24, 2022, the brigade was awarded the honorary title “named after General Mark Bezruchko.” On October 14, 2022, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented the unit with a battle flag and a ribbon with an honorary name. On December 6, 2023, the President awarded the 110th Mechanized Brigade with the honorary distinction “For Courage and Bravery.”

From April 2022 to February 2024, the brigade held the defense in the Avdiivka direction. From October 10, 2023, to February 2024, the unit repelled one of the largest mechanized assaults by the enemy during the entire full-scale invasion.

In May-October 2024, the soldiers of the 110th Brigade stopped the enemy's rapid advance near the villages of Novooleksandrivka and Vozdvyzhka, preventing the cutting of the strategic Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka road and generally stabilizing the situation on this section of the front.

In October-November 2024, the brigade's fighters bravely repelled relentless assaults in the Selidovo-Kurakhiv direction, where the enemy attempted a quick strike to bypass the city of Pokrovsk from the south in order to encircle it.

From December 2024 to February 2025, the unit defended one of the most difficult sections of the front – Velykonovosilkovskyi. Despite the difficult and unfavorable terrain for defense, the brigade effectively destroyed Russian assault groups.
