What is “Personalized Stamp” and how does it work?

“Personalized Stamp” is a service by Ukrposhta that allows you to create a postage stamp with a custom design — using your own image, illustration, logo, or a specific theme.

In this post, we answer the same questions we had when we first learned about “Personalized Stamp”.

Are these stamps valid?

Absolutely.

These stamps are official postage and have the same validity as standard U-denominated stamps. You can use them to send letters and postcards both within Ukraine and internationally.

Can someone else purchase them?

No.

Stamps created through the “Personalized Stamp” service are not available for general sale. They are produced in limited quantities exclusively for the customer, but remain fully valid for postal use.

Does “Personalized Stamp” consider only stamps?

It is much more than the stamps! You can order envelopes and postcards with your design, as well as framed stamp sheets or albums. You can explore all customizable products here.

Is it expensive?

Comparable to a taxi ride during rush hour — starting from 500 UAH. Except these will definitely reach the destination — and look exactly how you want.

The price depends on the format and quantity: a sheet of 9 stamps — 500 UAH, a sheet of 28 stamps — 900 UAH, a DL envelope — 36 UAH.

Bulk pricing applies: the larger the order, the lower the price per item.

What’s the minimum order?

At least one sheet, containing between 6 and 28 stamps. So no single-stamp orders — it’s always a small series.

Who is it for?

The service fits a wide range of use cases.

Businesses use it for branded materials and client gifts. Organizations — to mark events and anniversaries. Private customers are welcome too — whether it’s your favorite dog or a family heirloom. Let people know you’re not from just any family — you’re from a distinguished one.

Can anything be printed on a stamp?

Not quite. Only something good — or at least neutral.

The following are prohibited:

political content;
content that violates ethical norms or Ukrainian law;
anything that may threaten state sovereignty or territorial integrity;
content that infringes third-party copyright.

Ukrposhta reserves the right to decline production without explanation.

How do I order a “Personalized Stamp”?

You can do it online — from home or the office — via the Ukrposhta Market page.

Choose the product: stamps, envelopes, postcards, etc., and the desired quantity.
Pay for your order and provide your contact details.
Within the next business day, you’ll receive a request to upload your design file.
Upload your file — then comes the approval stage (up to 3 revisions allowed).
If you don’t provide the file within 5 business days, your order will be canceled and refunded.
Production takes up to 3 business days. Your order will then be delivered — of course, by Ukrposhta — to your chosen branch or parcel locker.
Done! Now you can send letters and postcards with literally your own stamps!

Is the “Personalized Stamp” project the same thing?

Not exactly. Stamps issued under the "Personalized Stamp” project are released for general sale. Ukrposhta produces them in partnership with partners, commonly — military units.
