Block «Ukrainian folk clothes» 2008

The Ukrainian Folk Clothes stamp series was launched in 2001. Each stamp in the series contains a unique image of a national Ukrainian costume typical of a certain region of Ukraine, a rite or a holiday for which this costume was worn. Two stamps from each oblast or historical region of Ukraine are combined in groups of three to form a postal block. All stamps in the Ukrainian Folk Clothes series were designed by artist Mykola Kochubey.
The 2008 issue represents the clothing of Luhansk, Dnipro and Crimea.
