Block «Nature Reserve "Gorgany"»

Gorgany is a nature reserve in the Ukrainian Carpathians founded in 1996. It is located in the southwestern part of Ivano-Frankivsk region and covers the unique mountain ecosystems of the Gorgany massif. The reserve was created to preserve the relict European cedar pine, as well as a variety of flora and fauna, including rare and endangered species.

The postal block dedicated to the reserve consists of four stamps: “Grouse”, "Mountain Arnica”, “Forest Cat” and “Cedar Pine”.
