Block «Lighthouses of Ukraine» 2010

The Lighthouses of Ukraine stamp series continued with the 2010 issue. It includes images of Sanzhiysky, Tendrovsky, Tarkhankutsky, Ilyichevsky, Khersonsky and Pavlovsky lighthouses.

Before the annexation of Crimea, the State Hydrographic Service of Ukraine operated 85 lighthouses. As a result of the occupation of Crimea, Ukraine temporarily lost control over 36 lighthouses. In addition, one lighthouse - Shyrokyne in Donetsk region - was destroyed during the hostilities.
