The National Police of Ukraine is not only about ensuring law and order, it is also about direct participation in repelling the armed aggression of Russia. Police officers evacuate people under fire, rescue children, document and effectively solve crimes, and counteract the enemy in the rear. In the context of a full-scale war, the National Police not only maintained security stability in the country, but also transformed into a multifunctional mechanism: from evacuating civilians to participating in combat operations and aeromedical evacuation of the wounded. Police officers of various units have been involved in repelling Russian armed aggression since the first days of the war, including special units such as “Rage”, "KORD", “Predator”, and rifle battalions. Currently, one in five police officers is involved in the defense of the state.
