Envelope with special cancellation «33rd Separate Mechanized Brigade»

The history of the brigade’s formation dates back to December 22, 2022. In 2023, the core of its command structure and separate line units were formed in Zakarpattia.

On the night of June 7–8, 2023, the brigade saw its first combat, taking part in the counteroffensive south of the settlement of Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region, advancing in the direction of Robotyne–Verbove.

On May 6, 2025, the brigade received its Battle Flag. On November 24, 2025, by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 856/2025, it was awarded the honorary distinction “For Courage and Bravery.”

The brigade’s shoulder patch features a classic Western European infantry sword from the 13th–14th centuries, symbolizing the military equipment provided by partner countries and adopted for service by the brigade. Next to it is the “Adam’s Head,” a widely recognized symbol of fearlessness and contempt for death.

Today, the brigade’s units continue to courageously carry out combat missions and defend the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The envelope features artwork based on a quote from a poem by Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko — “And there will be no enemy on the renewed land…” — and bears the “Trident” postmark with a special cancellation “33rd Separate Mechanized Brigade”.
