Personalized Stamp issue: Love through broken glass

The postage stamp issue with the symbolic title “Love Behind Broken Glass” is not just an artistic image or an abstract metaphor. It is a fragment of reality in wartime Kyiv captured in a miniature postage stamp. The image shows a girl and a boy kissing by a window broken by a rocket strike. The city is wounded, but alive. People are vulnerable, but they continue to love.

Ukrainian wartime postage stamps are born from real events, true stories, and emotions experienced. They are not just the fantasies of artists, but a visual chronicle of what Ukrainians see, feel, and experience every day. Each such stamp is a testimony to the era, captured in miniature.

The new issue, “Love Through Broken Glass,” is about feelings that do not disappear with the sound of sirens, do not shatter along with broken windows, and do not surrender to fear. It is about love that is forced to exist amid the destruction and suffering of war, but becomes even stronger because of it.
