Personalized Stamp Issue: State Border Guard Service of Ukraine

On November 4, 1991, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law of Ukraine “On the State Border of Ukraine” as well as the Law of Ukraine “On the Border Troops of Ukraine.” These two legislative acts logically embodied the country’s position on defining its own borders and establishing the security component of the state.

The state border of Ukraine is inviolable. It defines the territorial boundaries of Ukraine as a fully-fledged subject of international law. Our country has one of the longest state borders on the European continent — approximately 7,000 kilometers — while the area of Ukraine’s exclusive (maritime) economic zone exceeds 72,000 square kilometers.

Today, Ukraine is waging a just struggle to restore its territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.

Holders of philatelic subscriptions “Exclusive+” will receive a link to pay for the limited edition postal set “State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. 35 Years” under the “Personalized Stamp” project. It includes:

• a numbered stamp sheet (9 stamps);
• a numbered illustrated envelope (C6 format) with a special cancellation.

The number of sets is 900. The price of the set is UAH 800.00.

If not all sets are purchased within the specified period, the remaining quantity will be released for general sale in the Ukrposhta Postmark.
