Photos of our defenders together with fluffy animals are being shared on the Internet, demonstrating the best human qualities of Ukrainian Heroes to the world. Tired and exhausted soldiers, returning from combat missions, are warmed by the love of rescued and sheltered animals. The helpless animals who lost their humans and homes because of the war, reward their rescuers with warmth and devotion. The rescued dogs and cats often become true battle buddies and effective “antidepressants” for our fighters. Four-legged friends help the defenders to escape from the harsh reality of war for a moment and to recall their loved ones and the comfort of their home. Postal issue “Battalion “Fluffy”” is charitable. The funds raised will be directed by Ukrposhta to help animal shelters. The postage set includes one sheet “Battalion “Fluffy”. Kitties” and cover “First Day” with special cancellation.
