Bringing Life Back: The Heroes of Demining

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, deminers from the State Emergency Service (SES) and the State Special Forces (SSF) have cleared hundreds of thousands of hectares of Ukrainian land of explosive ordnance. This effort relies on modern, proven equipment, including DOK-ING machines, which have been used to clear over 30 million square meters of territory.

Next to the image of a deminer in the center of the illustration is the MV-10 (DOK-ING) demining machine, symbolically named “Hope.” It was this machine that withstood a direct hit from an enemy UAV last year, but thanks to remote control, none of the operators were injured.

The stamp issue is intended to honor the daily, extremely difficult, and dangerous work of deminers who clear Ukrainian territories of explosive ordnance, and was produced with the support of the Croatian demining vehicle manufacturer DOK-ING, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and the State Special Transport Service.
