Sheet "Khmelnytskyi. The beauty and greatness of Ukraine. Khmelnytskyi region"

Description:

In Khmelnytskyi, on Independence Square, in front of the regional state administration, there is a monumental sculptural composition "Faith, Hope and Love". The monument was opened in September 2011. However, work on it continued since 1999. The composition is based on the figures of three ancient Ukrainian coastguards. The triad is placed on a large circle, which symbolizes the eternal, unbreakable circle of existence and succession of generations. In the same circle - figures of storks; bunches of viburnum, bunches of grapes - symbols of fertility and unity; towels, with which Ukrainian mothers have blessed their children since ancient times. On the reverse side of the composition - a kobzar with a kobza - an expression of the thoughts and hopes of the Ukrainian people. The dimensions of the monument are 9 x 7.8 x 5 m.
