The issue, presented by Ukrposhta on August 6, 2021, contains 8 stamps with images of representatives of the partridges: “Forest partridge Tetrastes bonasia”; “White-billed Grouse Tetrao urogallus”; “Common Pheasant Phasianus colchicus”; “Common quail Coturnix coturnix”; “White partridge Lagopus lagopus”; “Gray partridge Perdix perdix”; “Eurasian grouse Lyrurus tetrix”; “Cream-colored sandpiper Alectoris chukar”.

The White-billed Grouse (Tetrao urogallus) depicted on the card is a species of bird from the grouse genus Tetrao, one of the largest birds in the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is a rare bird listed in the Red Data Book of Ukraine.
