Since the beginning of the war, the Jack Russell Terrier named Patron has served in the pyrotechnics team of State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Four years ago, the head of the pyrotechnic group of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Chernihiv region gave his son a puppy. The four-legged pet was prepared for exhibitions, but because of the war he had to become a sapper.

In addition to duty, Patron attends press conferences, meetings with foreign leaders, and visits children in hospitals.

Patron has been awarded the Medal "For faithful service".
