Description:

The 7 Wonders of Ukraine all-Ukrainian campaign was initiated by the Mykola Tomenko's Native Land Foundation in 2007. Its goal is to popularize domestic tourism and to show Ukrainians and the world the natural, architectural and historical sights of our country. One of the stages of the campaign was called “7 Wonders of Ukraine: Castles, Fortresses, Palaces”. This stage and its winners are the subject of a postage stamp issued by Ukrposhta in 2012. The sheet consists of six stamps: “Akkerman Fortress”, "Vorontsov Palace", "Metropolitan Palace", "Khotyn Fortress", "Lutsk Upper Castle", "Kamianets-Podilskyi Fortress" and "Palace in Kachanivka".
