Description:

In 2009, Ukrposhta, together with the Ukrainian Mineralogical Society, launched a series of postage stamps called “Minerals of Ukraine”. This series represents minerals that can be found in the subsoil of Ukraine. Each stamp is dedicated to a particular mineral common in a particular region of Ukraine.

In 2010, a postal block consisting of six stamps was issued: “Syngenite”, "Rhodonite”, “Labrador”, “Agate”, “Amber” and “Karpatite”.

These minerals symbolize the richness and diversity of Ukraine's natural resources, emphasizing the geological uniqueness of each region.
