The stamped envelope, which was put into circulation on October 18, 2021, is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Armenian composer and conductor Alexander Spendiarov. A native of the small Ukrainian town of Kakhovka, he became one of the founders of Armenian classical music. Two musical works - the suite “Crimean Sketch” and the symphonic picture “Three Palms” - brought the composer wide popularity. Among his best works are the magnificent example of national symphonism “Yerevan Etudes” (1925) and the opera “Diamond” (1928), created in the last years of his life.
