The State Treasury Service of Ukraine (Treasury) is a central executive body whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Finance and which implements state policy in the field of treasury services for budget funds and customer funds in accordance with the law, and accounting for budget execution. The Treasury is a member of the electronic payment system of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The Treasury was established on April 27, 1995 by the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On the State Treasury of Ukraine”. Since its inception, the Treasury has been playing a key role in the state's financial system, ensuring effective management of budget funds, including financing national security and defense, social payments, managing the State Treasury Fund, controlling the targeted use of funds, and maintaining the smooth operation of information and communication systems.
