13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Charter”

• It is the only unit of the Defense Forces that has gone from a volunteer territorial community formation to a combat brigade.
• The unit that Serhiy Zhadan joined, as well as a number of artists from Kharkiv.
• The slogan is “Building a new Ukrainian army”.
• In May, the “Charter” stopped Russia's repeated offensive on Kharkiv, and now the brigade is defending the Kharkiv region from the occupiers.

The sketches for the stamp sheet, envelope, and art cards present a documentary chronicle of the unit's work through the eyes of illustrator Serhiy Maidukov. The artist creates his works exclusively from life, so to implement the project, he communicated directly with the brigade's soldiers in Kharkiv and other settlements of the region, including Liptsi, a strategically important village where fighting is currently underway.
