In one of his greetings on the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said: "This is the day of all who help defend the state. All those who help protect people. All those who give their souls, time and money to make Ukraine and Ukrainians can. Can win... Today, volunteers are the most powerful part of Ukrainian civil society... And this is an idea that attracts millions of people from around the world to the Ukrainian struggle for freedom." These powerful words are embodied in the new issue of Ukrposhta, which is a tribute to all volunteers in Ukraine. The designs for the issue were chosen by popular vote. After all, who else but we, Ukrainians, know everything about our volunteers?! According to the results of the voting, the first place was taken by the sketch of Anastasiia Bondarets, the author of the famous postage stamp “Good evening, we are from Ukraine!”. The works of the finalists Anastasiia Tuka, Sviatoslav Romanchak and Mariia Suslova are reproduced on the decorative envelope and the presentation folder accompanying the stamp. Each postage stamp in the issue has an additional UAH 5.00 face value, which is intended for charitable purposes.
