During almost three years of full-scale war, radio has literally saved people. As it happened to a family from Mariupol, who, after spending several weeks in the basement without enough food and water, used their last money to buy batteries for a radio to hear the long-awaited information about the “green corridor.”

When the Russian invaders entered the Kyiv region, the famous Ukrainian composer and his family hid in the basement. A radio helped them survive the occupation. With the help of it, they learned what was happening outside - that Ukraine continues to fight for every settlement, for every human life.

The information wave of Ukrainian Radio, whose call sign for over 80 years has been the melody “The Dnipro roars and groans...”, continues and helps Ukrainians believe in victory.

The set includes a numbered stamp sheet of 9 stamps, numbered C6 art envelope with a special cancellation and card.
